We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager / Social Lead to join the UK team working on one of the world’s most recognisable entertainment streaming services.
This is a role for someone who combines platform-native expertise, cultural instincts, and meticulous attention to detail. You’ll be the final checkpoint for all social content, ensuring every post is polished, on-brand, and ready to go. You’ll also take a strategic view across upcoming content, spotting opportunities, gaps, and improvements, and helping guide monthly content packages that keep the social presence fresh, consistent, and impactful.
You’re a top-tier copywriter with an eagle eye for tone, timing, and detail, and a natural planner who can see both the week ahead and the month ahead while managing multiple campaigns and launches. You’ll work closely with strategists, creatives, and community managers to ensure every piece of content aligns with the brand’s voice, audience expectations, and cultural relevance.

What You'll Do
- Lead social strategy and execution across key platforms, ensuring content is culturally relevant, creative, and aligned with brand goals
- Serve as the final checkpoint for all content, reviewing copy, creative, and format to maintain the highest standards across every post
- Guide and inspire the social team, providing feedback, mentorship, and strategic direction that elevates ideas and campaigns
- Oversee the week-ahead and month-ahead content plans, spotting opportunities, gaps, or improvements to strengthen storytelling and engagement
- Collaborate closely with strategists, creatives, and community managers to ensure campaigns and reactive content are platform-native, innovative, and impactful
- Identify trends, cultural moments, and audience behaviour insights to inform strategy and inspire new social ideas
- Foster a culture of high-quality, fast, and culturally fluent content, balancing operational precision with creative experimentation
Who You Are
- More than 5 years experience in social media, ideally within the Entertainment space
- Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills, with a proven ability to spot errors and elevate content at speed
- Deep understanding of social platforms, formats, and trends, particularly Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Threads, and Facebook
- Experienced in high-volume content planning and managing multi-stream publishing calendars
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate audience needs and optimize content in advance
- Strong cultural instincts and understanding of entertainment fandoms and online communities
- Calm under pressure, highly organised, and comfortable juggling multiple campaigns and launches simultaneously
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior social team members is a plus
